Let's talk ambition.

Today I practiced my viola for a couple hours. I spent time online while watching a movie on my iPhone. A productive day? Yes and No. It was a productive day because I worked on my pieces that my orchestra will be performing in Germany in 12 days! Not so productive because... I could have been reading my AP United States history review book that I bought last night at Barnes and Noble. I could have excercised. But hey, it has been a restful day. That's a good thing. In two hours, I'll be at a party... it will have been a nice Saturday; the third Saturday of 2010!

Ambition is one of my favorite words.
-desire to achieve a particular end
-a desire for activity or exertion

When you are ambitious, you have a goal or a dream. Dreams can vary:
- to be a rockstar
- to be a parrot trainer
- climb mount everest
- become a famous designer
- sky dive

Ever heard of a "bucket list"? It is a list of things you would like to do being you "kick the bucket" or put more politely, pass away. Here are a few of the things I'd like to do before I die:
1. Go to college.
2. Get married/have kids.
3. Travel! I want to see the castles of Europe!
4. Visit the Ice Hotel in Alaska.
5. Write and publish a book.
6. Do more outdoorsy things like hiking and kayaking!
7. Go to Paris fashion week or a fashion show in Milan.
8. Work for a magazine.
9. Be an extra in a movie.
10. Own a beach house.
11. Learn German.
12. Visit the Pyramids in Egypt!
13. Bring out the best in others.
14. Write a script for a TV show.
15. Finally figure out how to write in html!!
16. Go on a fun road trip.
17. Learn how to cook really well.
18. Go on a cruise.
19. Start my own business.
20. Be Maid of Honor
21. Ride in a racecar.
22. Conquer my fear of certain, huge rollercoasters. (maybe).
23. Create a giant collage. Wall-sized.
24. Watch the 10 greatest American movies of all time.
25. Stay at the space hotel?!
... this and much more.

Aside from the "Bucket List", I'd like to be the best I can be- physically, mentally, and personality-wise! I'm sure you do too! What do you want to accomplish?
